Al is certified teacher that has an extensive educational background in physics, astronomy, earth science, and mathematics. Al obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2001 and a Master’s from the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) in 2003. In July of 2023 he left an 18 year career in the casino industry to reclaim his passion for education. In his free time, Al is an avid bowler, amateur astronomer, and an aspiring science fiction writer.
