  • Technology for Change – Voyager’s Community School

    Students ranging from preschool to high school have been working together to test and design video games in the Creative Technology elective. They began by developing a setting for an original game. Ideas included a haunted house, an abandoned factory, a GameStop, and a Wegman’s Food Market. They then chose a conflict to accompany each setting. In order to solve this conflict, they decided on what developers call the “single core mechanic,” or essential feature of the game.
